Through a series of workshops, which Sophie van der Sman and I facilitated, students of Graphic Design Arnhem at ArtEZ together explored the possibilities of the riso. Each workshop focused on a technical aspect of riso and was visually investigated. From working with grids and layers to digital editing techniques and the possibilities of layering colors and grids. There was also analog work with just the scanner to explore publishing practices such as producing a publication. This resulted in posters, one-page zines, wallpapers, small publications, and portfolio folders.
